Favorite Things To Do: Well I love movies and music, hanging with friends and meeting new people. I love all music and I am very open minded to learning new things. For now I am in school at the Art Institute of Houston for Multimedia and Web Design......so someday I will be able to have a good web page lol.
Education and Stuff
Well I mainly grew up in Florida, although I have moved all over. I never really spent more than one year at any school due to my parents being divorced and my dad moving around so much. This helped me learn to be more social and make friends pretty quickly. There are two ways to be known in a new school, either be the tough guy or the funny guy, well I decided to be the funny guy. That has worked pretty well for me so far. I graduated from Crosby High School in Texas in 1995. I then went into the Army for 5 yrs and now I am back in school, going to the Art Institute in downtown Houston for Multimedia and Web Design.
My Army Career
Well I went into the Army with dreams of being like Rambo and getting all the girls at the same time. I went in at 18 yrs of age, not knowing much of anything as far as the military was concerned. So I went into basic training as this hotshot private, it didnt take long for the Drill Sergeants to humble me. It was a great time and everything taught me something about myself and how to lead other soldiers. I recieved a fast track promotion to private first class by the time I graduated AIT. Then it was onto Airborne School. With all of this newfound freedom we had there it was a great time, getting drunk at night and talking to girls, while learning how to jump from planes during the day. It wasnt all fun though, I managed to get plenty of bumps and bruises along the way. After that I went into Ranger School, the badasses of the Army. This was my dream, and the very highest I could go as a private until I became a sergeant then possible Special Forces. Being in a Ranger Battallion was a great time. I really learned humility though because they dont like new guys very much, especially confident ones like myself. It didnt take long for me to get into trouble not wanting to obey my superior and I put in to be transferred and they obliged by sending me to Korea. I spent a year there, missing everything about the States. Then I finally came back to NC, home of the 82nd Airborne Division. I logged over a 150 jumps during my 2 yrs there before coming back to Houston to be a recruiter for the Army. That job totally sucked, so when it came my time to get out in July of 2000 I got out and decided to go back to school.
Things I look for in a girl
The first thing that I usually notice about a girl is her smile. Thats very important to me, not that she has to have a great smile but the fact that she is smiling period. I also love beautiful shining eyes. Short hair is also something that I have found an interest in. Throughout my teenage and young adult life I have really been attracted to actresses like Charlize Theron, Ashely Judd, Meg Ryan and singers like Martina McBride. They all pretty much have the same style in common. I also am attracted more so towards thin or average girls, I know that some people will find that shallow but hey its what I like and I am not going to be in a marriage where either partner isnt attracted to the other after 10-50 yrs. I keep myself in great shape and I think to ask for decent shape in my partner isnt being to juvenile. I have 2 tattoos now, a tribal on each bicep, and I also feel that tattoos on girls are somewhat attractive, although its certainly not something that I go searching for. Belly button rings are very cute also. Now as far as whats inside the person, they have to be sweet, know how to compliment their guy, and know how to appreciate the fact that I am a very sweet and complimentary guy also.....its pretty rare to see me with someone that I like and not tell them how much I think of them. Someone who is good with kids is also a big turn on. I am 24 yrs old now and I am looking for someone that I can spend my life with. This means having a great family. I have dated a few girls that have had kids so I am absolutely understanding towards single mothers and I would never disclude myself from dating someone just because they have kids. I do however want one or more of my own someday. I want a perfect family, and that includes going to church on Sundays, not that I am a religious nut or anything but I think its important to raise children in a somewhat Christian environment to say the least. The fact is that I dont go to church very much but I would like to change that when I get married. I have been engaged once several years ago, but the military made it too hard to keep that relationship. I have been in love twice and there is no better feeling than to be in love, just as there is no worse feeling than to fall out of love or have that relationship end.
